I am very happy to share that two of my pieces are included in the exhibitSummer Invitational at Sherry Leedy Contemporary Art in Kansas City, Mo. Below are a couple of photos from the July 1st First Friday Opening. The show runs through August 20th. If you are in the area, stop by!
The exhibit was absolutely beautiful. I feel so lucky to work with galleries that have such a great eye for curation. Thank goodness for the catalog. After I returned home, I realized that I didn't get a photo of Jane Booth's gorgeous painting, Maura Wright's giant vessels, or Marcus Cain's dot paintings. I did manage to get some nice photos of my work, Joey Watson, and Beth Lo's. Scroll down to see their work. Please to check out all the work in the online catalog below or at this link.
My work looked perfect next to Joey Watson's ceramic cups and straws.
Joey Watson's very colorful, funky cups and straws.
Beth Lo's work was so lyrical.
